Charpentier's David et Jonathas at BAM will be wonderful. The fabulous baroque conductor William Christie and Les Arts Florissants. If you don't already love French baroque opera, you will when you hear them. Elegant melancholy and ravishing beauty.

On April 1 we will hear countertenor David Daniels sing Giulio Cesare at the Met. 
Handel wrote absolutely exquisite music for countertenor voices. Here's a gorgeous example, sung by Iestyn Davies:

On April 1 we will go to the dress rehearsal of Giulio Cesare at the Met.

In February we LOVED Jonas Kaufmann as Parsifal.
