We have a few tickets for the dress rehearsal for Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmélites at the Met on the morning of May 1st. They are FREE.
It's a really extraordinary work and not one we often get to see performed. Please email if you want a ticket and say whether you'd like to bring a friend.

A great interview with Alice Coote, who appears in Giulio Cesare.
Look forward to seeing some of you there tomorrow! We have a couple of extra tickets if anyone still wants one...

Charpentier's David et Jonathas at BAM will be wonderful. The fabulous baroque conductor William Christie and Les Arts Florissants. If you don't already love French baroque opera, you will when you hear them. Elegant melancholy and ravishing beauty.
Here is the incredibly stylish Atys they did at BAM last year:

On April 1 we will hear countertenor David Daniels sing Giulio Cesare at the Met.
